Back in the Sixties, being a thoughtful teen, I asked: "Who?s gonna save the world?" I was especially worried about nuclear bombs and other environmental threats. This memoir traces my journey, which began when mankind acquired the ability to wipe out all life on Earth. Awakening to this reality led me to ask the big spiritual questions: "Why am I here?" "Is there a God and, if so, what in the world was He thinking!!" and, "How is it all going to play out in the end?" Today, everyone is worried about the future of planet Earth.
