On the 14th day of Kislev, 1928, the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka were married, in Warsaw, Poland.
This recording tells the story of their historic wedding, including details from newly discovered documents, which throw new light on all the events surrounding the Shidduch and Chassuna.
You will hear about the L'chayim, the Oifruf, the trip to Warsaw, the Chasan-Mohl (meal), the Chassuna and Sheva Brochos.
You will also experience a second celebration which was taking place at the same time hundreds of miles away, in Yekatrinaslav (Dniepropetrovsk), as the Rebbe's parents, Reb Levik and Rebbetzin Chana, celebrated the Oifruf, the Kiddush and the wedding together with hundreds of local Jews. It was an amazing experience which affected everyone deeply and made a tremendous Kiddush Hashem.
