Reb Hillel Paritcher

One of the greatest mashpiim of Chabad Lubavitch, Reb Hillel Paritcher used the vehicle of stories to instill chassidishkite and chassidishe middos in his talmidim.

Reb Hillel would instruct every new talmid to probe the depths of a particular story and then share the lessons he derived from it. Reb Hillel would then tell him the truer and deeper meaning of the story.This taught his students that it is not enough to read a story, one has to learn a story.

His success was evidenced by the fact that his talmidim became the greatest chassidim of the Rebbeim. In the words of the Frierdiker Rebbe, "Even the weakest of his students could bring life to an entire region."
