This issue of Mendy explores the Jewish concept of Teshuva.
When most people think of Teshuva, they usually think of Repentance. But the concept of Teshuva goes far beyond that. In fact, the word "Teshuva" can actually be defined as "To Return."
On a simple level, when a person does something the Torah declares is wrong, and then does Teshuva, he returns to the Torah way of life. However on a deeper level, Teshuva means coming closer to HaShem. So even if a person hasn't done anything wrong, he can always increase his efforts in Torah and Mitzvot. In this way, he will be doing Teshuva, too.
Through the Adventures of Mendy, Torah Tales, Story of our Sages and much more, we hope to show how important, and how easy it is to do both levels of Teshuva.
