Le 'Houmach de Jérusalem

Au terme d'un travail de 4 ans, la traduction interlinéaire hébreu-français des cinq livres de la Torah voit enfin le jour. Un tel ouvrage n'existait pas encore en français!

Cette traduction très attendue comblera aussi bien le débutant que le fidèle assidu désirant comprendre et approfondir les textes de l'hébreu biblique.

Le 'Houmach de Jérusalem a été réalisé par Chemouel Ghezi (ayant traduit le Sidour de Jérusalem et les Tehilim de Jérusalem) assisté par une équipe de correcteurs, ceci afin de rendre cet ouvrage le plus accessible et le plus rigoureux possible. Cette nouvelle traduction contemporaine du 'Houmach s'est faite selon les commentaires de Rachi et d'autres Commentateurs. A chaque ligne du texte, le mot hébreu est accompagné, juste en-dessous, d'un ou plusieurs mots français qui traduisent avec justesse chaque mot dans son contexte.

Cette traduction a reçu l'approbation du rav Ovadia Yossef (sidour) du Grand rabbin Sitruk et du rav Chalom 'Hazan.

After 4 years of work, the Hebrew-French interlinear translation of the five books of the Torah finally sees the light of day. Such a book did not yet exist in French!

This long-awaited translation will satisfy both the beginner and the faithful devotee wishing to understand and deepen the texts of Biblical Hebrew.

The Chumash of Jerusalem was produced by Chemouel Ghezi (having translated the Siddur of Jerusalem and the Tehillim of Jerusalem) assisted by a team of proofreaders, in order to make this work as accessible and as rigorous as possible. This new contemporary translation of the Chumash was made according to the commentaries of Rashi and other Commentators. On each line of the text, the Hebrew word is accompanied, just below, by one or more French words which accurately translate each word in its context.

This translation received the approval of Rabbi Ovadia Yossef (sidur) Chief Rabbi Sitruk and Rabbi Shalom 'Hazan.
